The classic Trainwreck Express meets the Ceriatone All Access treatment!
We have offered the famous and sought after amp for many years, under the name TW Expression, to great reception by many guitar players. With current needs and demands, the TW Expression All Access seeks to offer even more value for the money.
The original circuit is known to be quite gainey, requiring finesse to control. As such, the main offering of this model is a Clean channel that can be selected via a footswitch, other than the original Trainwreck circuit on the OD channel.
Other than that, we have added the following to make your experience even better:
1) Separate Volume/Gain Control for each channel
The Clean and OD channels are with separate Gain/Volume controls, each with its own Bright switch. So you can really tailor your sound/distortion/volume for each channel. For the OD channel, we also provide Gain Character switch, so you can fine tune the amount of gain you get! From original wild Trainwreck Express, to Marshall crunch, to in between!
2) Post PI Master Volume Control – so it’s easy to manage your volume, and even use the amp in your bedroom!
The PPIMV becomes defeated if you set it to full, so you get the original circuit/sounds.
3) Buffered Effects Loop
The solid state LND150 based circuit provide a transparent effects loop. Comes with a switch to turn it off!
4) Tube/Solid State Rectification
The original is solid state, we provide a switch so you can have tube rectification (GZ34/5AR4), even for more tonal and feel range!
5) Voicing and Options switches
The amp offers small delights to make it more versatile. You can select the Presence control capacitor using the Bite switch, cut highs through the Vox-like Hi Cut control, add thickness through Dumble-like Mid Boost switch, and even alter the negative feedback values in the power amp using the NFB switch. Crazy, right?!
