Shipping Rate Revision
We will
revise the shipping rate without prior notice. Please check the shipping rate
from time to time. If you have paid for the item, the old rate still applies.
The new rate is for new orders only, at that point of time.
Insurance and Claims
All items
that are shipped via UPS, DHL and FedEx will be insured to ensure all possible
liabilities covered. However, the full amount covered is as per the declared
amount on the invoice. The rate shown on the table is without insurance.
Insurance
is compulsory.
DHL - for
item declared <USD500, insurance is USD10
for item declared >USD500, insurance is at 2% of the declared amount
UPS -
Insurance is at 1% of the declared amount
FedEx -
Insurance is at USD1 per USD200 (or fraction thereof) ie
- if
item is declared at USD150, insurance is USD 1
- if
item is declared at USD250, insurance is USD 2
- if
item is declared at USD1,000 insurance is USD5
Important note: Once parcel has been received,
please check the amp/kits/components thoroughly immediately. If there's damaged
and you would like to file the claim, please follow the procedure below.
Damaged Report Procedure:
If your parcel arrived damaged, please provide the following in order to file
the claim, within 10 days of accepting your parcel.

Pictures of the damaged amp/kit/ part

Pictures of the outer and inner packaging box, and the packing materials
-
Please keep the packing materials such as packing peanuts, bubble wraps, cling
wraps and/or the custom packing foam together with the box for damage
inspection by the courier service agent

Please
resize the pictures to 600x450 in jpeg format
Failure
to adhere to the procedure above will result in the claim being rejected.
Approval of claim is based on the respective courier service investigation
result.
Shipment Charges
For all
items shipped via UPS, DHL or FedEx , shipment charges are calculated according to Actual or Volumetric / Dimensional weight,
which ever is higher .
Import Duty, Tax, Customs Clearance etc
Please be
informed that you will be taxed for importing goods to your country, and is
bound to the rules and regulations set by your local customs and your
government. Ceriatone will not be held responsible for any problems related to
this. Please check with your local customs before placing your order.
Price shown does not include import duty, tax,
brokerage charges, air port tax or any additional charges for shipment handling
or customs issues for the above said shipment
Any additional importing charges eg custom duty,
tax etc will paid by the customer upon arrival at the destination, as the one
taxing you is your government and neither this will be paid back to Ceriatone
nor that we have paid in advance.
Failure to claim the above said shipment resulting
in the parcel to be returned back to Ceriatone will be charged back to
consignee. A grace period of 5 working days, to which if there's no reply from
the customer, the courier service has the right to send the parcel back, deemed
unclaimed. We seek your cooperation to email us your contact number when you
make the payment so that the courier service can reach you once your amp has
arrived, for customs related matter.
Shipping to Latin America
Countries via FedEx:
FedEx requires your personal ID or company tax ID,
which ever is used to ship the amp, for customs clearance
purposes. This is compulsory but only via FedEX, DHL and UPS do not require your
Personal Tax ID or your Company Tax ID. Failure to provide the details may cause
delay to your shipment.
Customs Duty Invoice
Tariff Code should read "8543.70.96.10:
Amplifier for use with musical instruments" on the Customs Duty Invoice
If you received Duty Invoice for Tariff Code:
9202.90.4000 : Strings Musical Instruments eg Gitar, Harp, Violin etc, please do
not pay and e-mail us a
copy of the invoice together with the consignment / tracking number. We will
help you dispute and adjust the billing. If you are not sure
e-mail us too.

Delivery
Transit Time
Please take note that DHL is using its
Worldwide Package Express and UPS is using the Express Saver service.
FedEx is using the Economy Service, hence the
delivery time is slower than UPS and DHL. Estimated transit time from Malaysia
to US is about 6-7 working days, subject to customs clearance. For further
countries (from Malaysia) this may take longer, and countries which are nearer,
it'd be faster, subject to customs clearance.
Malaysian Customers
We do not
entertain walk in customers, only by appointment. Please
e-mail us if you would
like to set up an appointment or if you have sales inquiry. Shipment will be
either via Pos Malaysia or Nationwide and will be quoted on case to case basis.
We highly recommend
you to ship your orders. However if you insist on
pick up your order, there will be an additional
RM50 for admin fee.
Simply because we want you to save on your petrol and toll, and we
are doing an online business.
